- Reservoir M.Tech or Ph.D. in Reservoir Engineering or a related field
- Reservoir / Chemical M.Tech or Ph.D. in Reservoir Engineering, Chemical Engineering
- Chemical M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Drilling: B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical/Petroleum Engineering
- Production B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Petroleum Engineering or related field
- Mechanical: B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Paleontology: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Micropaleontology, Biostratigraphy, or related field
- Sedimentology: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Sedimentology or related field
- Sequence Stratigraphy: M.Sc. with specialized experience in sequence stratigraphy studies in petroleum exploration plays
- Carbonate Reservoir: M.Sc. or Ph.D. with specialized experience in Reservoir Characterization & Resource/Reserve Estimation
- Techno-economic Evaluation: Specialized experience in techno-economic assessment of exploration prospects, blocks, and producing fields
- Field Geology: 10 years of specialized experience (out of total experience) in Surface Geological field-work
- Unconventional 10 years of specialized experience (out of total experience) in CBM and/or Shale Gas/Oil productivity
- Geothermal: 10 years of experience in geothermal exploration, development, and exploitation
- Petrophysics: Minimum 10 years of experience in analyzing various electrologists including production logs
- Remote Sensing & GIS: 10 years of specialized experience in Remote Sensing and GIS technology
- Seismic interpretation Onland seismic data interpretation expert (Total 25 years of interpretation experience, out of which 20 years should be in England interpretation alone)
